Wildflower - May 5, 2009

Want to get inspired? Come down to the Wildflower Triathlon. This year, we watched the 'Black Team' from the Biggest Loser, the Challenged Athletes, Team in Training, and our friends Hayley and Lynn all finish the Long Course - that's a 1.2 mile swim, 56 mile bike, and 13.1 mile run (a pleasure I experienced in 2002). It's a brutal course, and watching these individuals overcome such odds to race AND finish will leave you nothing short of inspired.

Nike Marathon - October 20, 2008

Sang the National Anthem at the Nike Marathon again this year. What a rush seeing 20,000 women (and a handful of men) train so hard and run this event to raise $ for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. It's absolutely exhilerating and one of my favorite events.

Phew! - August 25, 2008

I've been unbelievably busy with gigs, rehearsals and shows. I finally have some free time, and I'm taking it to finish some projects I've been neglecting.

Tijuana! - May 10, 2008

Yeah, I went there like every other under 21 year old in California, but this time as an adult mixing concrete on the ground with broken shovels and wheelbarrows with 7th graders for a well respected orphanage outside the city limits. You gotta go see how the other 1/2 lives...

America's Got Talent! - March 10, 2008

Thought I would go and audition for 'America's Got Talent.' Why not? I'll say hi to Piers, David, and Sharon for you.

Winter NAMM '08 - January 19, 2008

What a thrill to work Muriel Anderson's All Star Guitar Night on behalf of TrueFire.com (www.allstarguitarnight.com) - a great show for a great cause!

Merry Christmas - December 25, 2007

Hope you all have a Merry Christmas and a very Happy New Year!

Premier Guitar Festival - Boston - September 15, 2007

Saw Boston for the first time working as the Artist Liaison for Truefire.com at the Premier Guitar Festival. Met Robben Ford, Johnny A, Muriel Anderson, Monte Montgomery and Stu Hamm, among others. All I can say is - wow.

Takin' it to the Streets... - August 10, 2007

My new CDs are ready and waiting. Do you want one? Send me an email at info@kereli.com.

Summer NAMM Show - Austin, TX - July 27, 2007

Greetings from the Live Music Capital of the World! We're here for the Summer NAMM Show (National Association of Music Merchants). Walked the floor, made new friends and business contacts, met bass player Matt from 'Blue October,' (check out "Into the Ocean" on YouTube), hung out with my sister in Round Rock and had a beautiful time!

Music City USA - June, 2007

That's right, y'all~ we're here in Nashville passing out the demo CD. Got a call back from the Artist Development Network here on Music Row! Met the CDs arranger Scott Fuller for the first time, hung with old friends Matt & Kathi West, and have a new found love for rockabilly...

DONE !!! - May 10, 2007

My very first album/demo CD is completed! It's called "Gold..." named after the last song on the album. It's a pretty great feeling to have it all done.

An-ti-CD-pation!!! - February 27, 2007

We are hard at work finishing my first album and demo CD. It's been an incredibly long journey, but I've absolutely loved every aspect of the process.

Merry Christmas... - December 25, 2006

I'll be in Colorado this Christmas; it's bound to be white! Merry Christmas to you and yours.

Mexico! - November 15, 2006

We're back from Zihuatanejo, Mexico. Zihua is seven miles south of Ixtapa on the Pacific side. Did some backups with Nashville recording artist and writer Josie Kuhn, sat in with Rex and his new band for two nights singing Zeppelin's 'Rock & Roll,' and just HAD to bust out the Whitney Houston karaoke version of 'I Will Always Love You.' Great little music scene budding down there; can't wait to go back!

Meritage Music - October 20, 2006

I sang in a band called 'The Crew' for about eight years. When we disbanded (pun intended), the guitarist Kim Morgenthaler and I put together an acoustic duo called 'Meritage.' (www.meritagemusic.com) We're playing weddings, casuals, etc. I am loving the freedom to really play with the melody and create something all-together new.

The Elderly - October 3, 2006

I just found a note from an ex-coworker that says, "The elderly enjoy your music very much." It's obviously an inside joke, but Gary Slabaugh, if you're out there, pop in those teeth and let's get singin'! :)

Internal Affairs - August 1, 2006

I joined a rock and roll party band, Internal Affairs: www.iarocks.com. We are playing out every weekend- San Mateo, San Francisco, Gilroy, Oakdale to name a few. Come out and see us!

Wicked! - July 27, 2006

Just got back from seeing 'Wicked' on Broadway... My favorite part of the show? It's hard to beat Elphaba's ending of 'Defying Gravity.' Wow!

New Website - July 1, 2006

I've switched host providers to create a new look and feel for the website. Thank you's out to David Curley, Mike McKaigg, Darrell Whatley, Randy Valentine, and Shawn Butler for all the technical assistance and advice. Hope you like it!

Demo CD! - January, 2006

I'm collaborating with Michael Bolton's music producer and guitarist Chris Camozzi to create a new album and demo CD. Can't wait to get started!
